With 5 years of operations now under our belt, we believe we have some great insight on the amazing wedding venues that Detroit and the surrounding areas have to offer. Below we have compromised a list of some of our favorite venues that allow food truck catering (in no particular order).

1. Packard Proving Grounds

This historic landmark was developed first by the Packard Motor Company almost 100 years ago. However, it is no kept secret! This venue books up quick, so be sure to make your reservation early.

2. Eastern Market

The place where we like to spend most of our time, the wonderful Eastern Market. We absolutely love this place. The staff is amazing, the atmosphere is outstanding and the ambiance is second to none. Eastern Market is also proud to be a champion of local business. If you are looking for beer for your wedding, adjacent to the market is newly founded, trendsetting beer company named Eastern Market Brewing.

3. The Eastern

This dynamic event space is adjacent to the sheds of Eastern Market and is a great place to host a wedding. Erected all the way back in 1888, this building was once a fire station. If you are interested in checking the space out, the first Slow Roll of the year is normally hosted at the Eastern. You can also count of a delicious Hero Or Villain sandwich that day! #Squad

4. The Rust Belt

The gathering spot of Ferndale's finest people! Owners Chris and Tiffany Best are tremendously kind and accommodating. Although The Rust Belt is home to over 40 businesses, they also have a venue space that allows for gorgeous weddings. The decor is all handcrafted and evokes a warm and homey sensation.

5. The Jam Handy

Inconspicuously tucked away on East Grand Blvd in Detroit, this spacious venue is great if you are planning a big wedding. The Jam Handy gives you a large clean slate to create your perfect dream wedding.

6. Cobblestone Farms

For a rustic farm wedding, there are only few that compete with Cobblestone Farms . This early 1800s establishment evokes a feeling of comfort and serenity. The homestead is surrounded by trees on all ends and feels removed from the rest of the world.

7. The Grand Belle

Located in Holly Michigan, this venue was once surrounded by apple trees as far as the eye could see. Since 2012, this barn has been renovated with modern amenities and turned in to a magnificent Barn Wedding venue. Perhaps the most modern looking barn on our list, the Grand Belle radiates with class and sophistication.

8. Flynn Pavilion on Belle Isle

Belle Isle is a magic place with picturesque settings all about the island. Located between sister cities Detroit and Windsor, this lovely location is fully of rich greenery and open space. Although, there are several different venues on Belle Isle, we are particularly keen on the Flynn Pavilion. With windows that go from floor to ceiling, the venue offers the comfort of being indoors while still being enthralled by the beautiful areas adjacent.

9. Lake St. Clair Metropark

Indulge your guests in the beauty that is Lake St. Clair. With a few different venues to choose from, we highly recommend the Gazebo for the ceremony and the Thomas Welsh Activity Center for the reception.

10. Your Own Backyard!

This is not just a filler option to get our list up to 10. If you have the space in your backyard or your parents backyard, our suggestion is to start there! Out of all of the private events that we do, the driveway or backyard of our client seems to be our most frequented destination. Your place, your rules, your party!
